HOLD ON, OUTFIT POST!
And just incase you were wondering, this is what I wore to my first day at the Post - Enjoy.

The Collections S/S 2013 Day 1 - What I wore

On Day 1 I went a little 90s grunge. I had to run home from school, dress myself in 10 minutes (impossibleeeeee) and run out the door to get myself to The Collections' loft on Queen St. in time for the opening show. Since I was a frantic mess when I got home (with greasy wind-blown hair thanks to my lovely bicycle) I just hairsprayed the shit out of it and pulled it into one of those slick-ish messy ponytails.

The last days of summer - a European photo diary

It's September. Yes, I am aware that normally September would be considered fall but thanks to the 28 degree weather we are having in the lovely city of Toronto I've decided to put together a little montage of some of my favourite summer vacation outfits. This summer I travelled to France and Portugal with my mommy and sissy (great girly/family trip full of love and spoiling) and it was amazing.

Chic in the Shit - how to look fashionable when roadtripping

I discovered something brilliant this summer. Totally by accident though, but whatevs. As some of you may know, I am not exactly the most outdoorsy person in the world. So when my boyfriend proposed a 4-day bike trip from Toronto to Niagara I was a little concerned. He had it all planned out. We were going to strap sleeping bags, a tent, and a bag of clothes (ONE BAG..............) to our road bikes and bike to wine country, visit vineyards and sleep under the stars. Romantic.

Montreal, how I miss you so.

The biggest difference between winter in Toronto and winter in Montreal is that Toronto is snowless and reasonably cold, while Montreal is snowy, beyond freezing, and most of the time freaking miserable. The funny thing is... I really do miss my Montreal winter. I miss the dirty snow mounds, the frozen Outremont ponds and the creepy naked trees. On my last visit home, my bestie Brittany and I took a tour around the city and put together a little outfit shoot to showcase some of my winter and spring looks. Enjoy!

Spring trends 2012 - Outfit post

Winter is lame. There, I said it.

It's cold and ugly and it's fashion is boring. Sweater, boots, scarves, big freaking winter coats, that's all you have to work with... So because we can't take winter anymore (my bestie Brittany Paquin and I, that is) we decided to have a little spring time photo shoot. Montreal is freezing and shooting spring looks in the snow has given us frostbite. so ENJOY!

How to wear - Sparkle for the holidays

The smell of Christmas is in the air! Coffee shop and clothing stores are blasting the Christmas classics, lights and wreaths are going up around the city, and even the CN Tower's got its red and green on! Everything is so happy and festive and shiny and lovely! With all the sparkle and shine of all-things Christmas, I just had to put together a holiday must-have list.

Release the hounds - Houndstooth for F/W 2011

Houndstooth is this winter’s biggest pattern. The oversized check, which was big in the 70s and can probably still be found in the back of your grandmother’s closet, has made a major come back. The classic pattern had been seen on the Fall 2011 runways of Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen, Moschino, and more.

Toronto Fashion Week S/S 2012 - Trend report

Now that I've had a chance to look back on what the big designers showed at fashion week, I managed to come up with somewhat of a must-have list for Spring/Summer 2012. I know it's November and it may hurt your heart to think of the wonderfulness of warmth, sun, and summer vacation, but bare with me. When spring comes back, you'll be ready!
